Over the past 16 years of operating, Samsonite has demonstrated consistent growth,
recording an estimated annual turnover of 35,000 USD and a net profit margin of
about 30%. The company has successfully executed numerous large-scale projects
for construction firms, real estate developers, hotels, interior designers, religious
bodies, and high-end homeowners across Nigeria.
With the increase demands for durable, aesthetic, and high-quality marble finishes in
the construction and real estate markets—especially across the South-South and
South-East regions—the company intends to expand its footprint by upgrading and
expanding its four existing outlets among others things.
To finance this expansion and upgrade, Samsonite Marble & Granite Limited is
seeking an investment loan of ¥200 million ($135,000 USD), with a 1-year
moratorium and a 3-year payback period, at an interest rate of 3% per annum. The
proposed investment will fund showroom and workshop setups, machinery
acquisition, stock procurement, logistics, marketing, and working capital.
The expansion is projected to deliver an internal rate of return (IRR) exceeding 35%
and achieve full payback within three years, supported by robust market demand,
proven management expertise, and established brand trust.
